Exhibitor’s Ticket - $8.00. An entry fee of .25 per entry will be charged. Entries will be accepted 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 1st. Release date will be Monday, September 5th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Must have a stub to pick up entry. Alternate release date is Wednesday, September 8th from 6:00 -7:00 pm. Decision of the judges will be final. See rules and regulations. All articles must be the working of the exhibitor alone. In making entries follow the working of the premium list. Please know categories in which items are to be entered. No premiums will be awarded on articles not enumerated on the list. No shipment of articles in this class will be received. No articles can be allowed more than one entry per exhibitor under each category. Entries must be articles never before awarded first place premium at this fair. Entries must be clean and worthy of competition. A plaque will be awarded in two divisions of Fine Arts to the exhibitor whose entry is judged as best or most outstanding of show. A plaque will be awarded in two divisions of Domestic Arts to the exhibitors whose entries are judged as best or most outstanding of show. A plaque will be awarded in Photography to the exhibitor whose entry is judged best of show. Entries made by PROFESSIONALS will be disqualified, except in the Professional class. PROFESSIONAL is defined as an individual who is in the business of creating and selling the items which they are exhibiting. The judgement as to who is a professional is left to the Superintendent., whose decision is final. Professional class is at the end of this section. A plaque will be awarded to the Professional whose entry is judged best of show.

RULES FOR DOMESTIC ARTS

1. All articles must be the work of the exhibitor. Must be fresh, clean, in good condition, not showing signs of wear, fading,

or stains, and must be worthy of being judged. No purchased item, and no article that has previously won 1st prize can compete.

2. During the judging the hall will be closed. No one is to enter the hall at this time, or will be asked to leave.

FINE ARTS

ARTWORK

No painting or entry larger than 30x36 inches including frame. All entries must be equipped for hanging. DO NOT use scotch tape, masking tape, string, sawtoothed hangers, or gummed eyelets. Pictures will be disqualified if these are used. Sketches or drawings must be properly framed and equipped for hanging. DO NOT use loose mat frames. The finish on the frames and paint must be dry. If you sign your painting or drawing your name must be covered. Only one entry per category. The decision of the judge is final. Tri County Fair tries to keep articles safe, however, we are not responsible for articles missing or taken during the fair.

Photo size maximum 5”x7”; minimum 3 1/2”x3 1/2”. Photo must be mounted on lightweight WHITE posterboard or cardboard (colored mountings disqualified), with a maximum margin of 2” and a minimum of 1”. Framed or professionally matted photos will be disqualified. A photo may be entered in only one category. No duplicate photos allowed. Photo must have been taken by the person entering it. Only one entry in each category. The Superintendant has the right to disqualify photos in bad taste. The decision of the judge is final.
