Mendota Tri County Fair Junior Barrow & Gilt Show

Check in 3:00pm Friday, September 2, 2011. May arrive after 6:00pm Thursday, September 1, 2011. Exhibitors must be ages 8-19. Entry fee - $15.00 (before August 26) Entry fee after August 26 - $20.00.

Class premiums jackpotted with 80% of entry fees paid out. Break down of payout in classes of 10 entries or less: 40%, 20%, 10%, 6%, and 4%. In classes of 11 entries or more: 30%, 20%, 10%, 5%, 5%, 5%, and 5%. Payouts are based on the number of entries received. 

Purebred classes must have 5 head or will be put in AOB. AOB classes split dark & white if possible. Registration papers required on purebreds. All purebreds need to list month of birth on entry form. All must have health papers. Barrows & crossbred gilts shown by weight. Purebred gilts shown by age. NO STRAW BEDDING IN STALLS - ONLY WOOD CHIPS.
